Baba Yaga is the ancient Slavic witch who dwells in the deep woods, living in a hut on chicken legs that constantly turns to face the unknown. She represents a terrifying, lawless wisdom—a wild feminine force that operates entirely outside societal approval.

 This work is part of a series that explores the complex landscape of the mythic feminine, reclaimed as active forces of power, grief, and transformation.

These large-scale, intricate panels are suspended away from the wall, allowing light to cast dynamic shadows throughout the gallery space. Moving between substance and silhouette, the artwork functions as a visual threshold where ancient stories meet contemporary life, celebrating the enduring power of these mythic archetypes.
